Sanctorum - Ashes Of Redemption

Let me set this straight. I have no qualms about rising UK thrashers Sanctorum, except that maybe their unrelentingly savage onslaught is perhaps a touch clichéd in today's suffocating metalcore climate, but they do manage to extricate themselves from that morass of mediocrity by, well, being quite good at it.
This fiery four-piece are certainly one of the more competent acts to take their cues from the faltering Machine Head (enough said about Cinders Fall the better), and their sophomore effort 'Ashes Of Redemption' is like a smack in the chops, lethally loaded with fierce growls, snappy riffing, relentless double bass, and absolutly outstanding lead work.
Except they bring nothing new to the table, Oh well.
