Trash metal by a group of 18 year olds, straight from the UK... Does that inspire you? Personnally, I received a huge smack.
The youngsters from Sanctorum must have seriously bathed in music to come out with an album of this breadth and musical quality.

And it's not for nothing they are already commented on by Kerrang, MetalHammer and even Terrorizer.
Sanctorum offers us old school trash, but also sounding really melodic and modern. An awesome mix.

The guitarists are really good, especially when they do Arch Enemy style solos, nice, classical and melodical. A real treat.
It sounds like In Flames and Metallica at the same time.

The songs are sometimes agressive, sometimes catchy, and never repeat themselves. The compositions are often original and simply good. The sounds get you in the gut and the guitar sound is excellent. They know their instruments like the back of their hands.

The drummer has a powerful game and his rythmn is very trashy. It's mental.
In regards to the voice, it finds it's influences in trash and death, and it's hard to imagine that it's the young Aaron who sings, and not and old trasher of 90 kilos.

My two favorites are "Lifeless Love", with it's excellent melodical parts, as well as "Stand Alone", which alternates between catchy rhythms and quieter moments that would make us think of Dark Tranquility, followed up by jerky riffs accompanied by a fist flowing drum.

Sanctorum have everything to succeed, and obviously they are on the right track. Do not walk by this surprising discovery, learn from them!
